Henry's Hotshots

Every year during middle school and junior high our family went to Taos Ski Valley in New Mexico. Morgan was part of the elite corps of junior skiers led by instructor Henry Hornberger, aka Henry's Hotshots. One year Morgan lost a ski in a powder run and Taos mailed it back to us- I think it's the one in this photo. It looks like he's just completed a NASTAR run in Kachina Basin. The ski week would hold a party at the Thunderbird lodge and hand out prizes.

Thanks for posting these photos and stories. Morgan touched so many people in so many places - including Mexico and New Mexico - a true adventurer and life-liver! It's not hard to notice that he is always smiling in all these pictures, that is who he is and always will be, touching us all with his optimism and joy - the gifts he gave will be enduring and always endearing. Thank you for sharing these with us, so many are grieving for you and with you.
